Did you know that the majority of Americans consider themselves to be Conservative? Over 40% of the population of the United States has values that are consistent with the ideals of Conservatism. If this is the case, how is it possible that Conservatives lost not only the Presidential election in 2008, but also their representative democracy in 2009? There is no excuse that a war hero lost the election to a radical leftist.
The loss of our representative democracy was evidenced by the passage of Obamacare by both the House of Representatives, and the Senate. The last poll I checked showed that 56% of Americans strongly opposed Obamacare but Congress passed it anyway. As we speak the Democrats are bracing themselves for disaster. The campaign slush funds have been subsidized by the American taxpayer. The failure of the Democrats to listen to their constituents, and legislate accordingly will cost them dearly in the 2010 elections.
It is truly a shame that people have such a cynical view of politicians and of government in general. The citizens have developed the attitude, “What does it matter, both parties are same.” They are not the same!!!! Democrats gave you the $787 billion Stimulus “Porkulus” Package. Democrats voted for the Cap and Trade legislation that is going to drive manufacturing overseas and create high unemployment for years to come. Democrats voted (down party lines) to bring universal healthcare “Obamacare” to the American people against their will. It was the Democrats that voted to raise the debt ceiling to over $12.4 TRILLION. It has been the Democrats, with their spending spree at the expense of the taxpayer that has lowered the standard of living for your children, grandchildren, and countless generations of Americans.
But all is not lost. Conservative grassroots movements and political activism on the rise, 2010 has the makings of being the year of the Conservative. I have outlined what the keys to Conservative victory are in 2010.
1). Research the voting records of your Senators and Representatives. If they voted for any of the legislation of the previous year, Vote them Out!
2). Support Conservative candidates. Only by getting politically active and choosing people who share our values will we be able to recapture our representative democracy. Support your chose candidate with financial contributions. Volunteer to help with their campaigns. It’s time to take your civic responsibility seriously.
3). Continue with the tea party movement. Keep the pressure on your elected representatives. Make these self-interested, non-representing representatives understand that they work for you. Do not be afraid to let your representatives know that you will be donating money to their opponent’s campaign, and that you will volunteer your time to make sure that these corrupt politicians are sent packing in 2010.
4). Inform and educate others. General Patton said, “If everyone is thinking the same, then someone isn’t thinking.” Be the voice of opposition. Engage your co-workers and anyone else who you feel is ignorant or uninformed. Forget the latest Hollywood gossip in the break room. Start discussing the issues that personally affect our lives. Let people know why you are proud to be Conservative. Remember, stick to the issues, personal attacks will turn people off before you have a chance to state your case.
5). Engage your professors. Let them know their multi-cultural, socialist view of the world is garbage. They stand at their pulpit and spew their radical beliefs, and their Anti-American dribble into the impressionable minds of our youth. Call them on it. Engage your professors and debate them in a civil manner. If you are informed, and respectful in your arguments, people around you may finally start to think critically and for themselves.
What do we need to look for in a Candidate?
In 2010, we need true Conservative candidates, not RINO’s (Republican in Name Only). Our chose candidates should possess most, if not all, of the following principled beliefs. Our candidates should
• Support the pro-life movement
• Require the balancing of the federal budget
• Strive to limit the size and scope of government
• Believe in gun ownership rights
• Support term limits
• Support the maintenance of a strong military as essential to our national security
• Vote for tax cuts
• Believe in free market capitalism
• Understand the Constitution, and the proper role of government
• Call for an investigation into the background of Barack Obama. The proper vetting of President Obama is constitutionally mandated.
• Want to repeal universal healthcare
• Refuse to support any bill that gives amnesty to illegal immigrants
• Support legislation that would make English the official language of the United States
• Admit that Radical Islam poses a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States of America.
If Conservatives follow this blueprint for success, we will undoubtedly take back the Senate and the House of Representatives in the upcoming 2010 elections. Electing representatives that listen to their constituents is the only way “We the People” can regain our representative democracy.
The countdown to Judgment Day has started. Now is not the time to get lazy, or to remain idle. If you want your country back, then get up and fight! Do your part. America needs a new greatest generation. Answer the call. It is a good time to be a patriot.

I came across this list while on Judicial Watch. I hope you see your Senator or Representative on this list. If you do, get politically active, and volunteer for conservative candidates in your home districts. The corruption in Washington will only change if ordinary people like you and me stand up and work for said change.

Judicial Watch Announces List of Washington's "Ten Most Wanted Corrupt Politicians" for 2009
Please accept my wishes for a Happy New Year. As many of you know, it has become something of a New Year's tradition for Judicial Watch to comb through its files for the year to determine which politicians earn the dubious distinction of being the most corrupt in Washington. The following is Judicial Watch's 2009 "top ten" list in alphabetical order:
1. Senator Christopher Dodd (D-CT): This marks two years in a row for Senator Dodd, who made the 2008 "Ten Most Corrupt" list for his corrupt relationship with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and for accepting preferential treatment and loan terms from Countrywide Financial, a scandal which still dogs him. In 2009, the scandals kept coming for the Connecticut Democrat. In 2009, Judicial Watch filed a Senate ethics complaint against Dodd for undervaluing on his Senate Finan cial Disclosure forms a property he owns in Ireland. Judicial Watch's complaint forced Dodd to amend the forms. However, press reports suggest the property to this day remains undervalued. Judicial Watch also alleges in the complaint that Dodd obtained a sweetheart deal for the property in exchange for his assistance in obtaining a presidential pardon (during the Clinton administration) and other favors for a long-time friend and business associate. The false financial disclosure forms were part of the cover-up. Dodd remains the head the Senate Banking Committee.
2. Senator John Ensign (R-NV): A number of scandals popped up in 2009 involving public officials who conducted illicit affairs, and then attempted to cover them up with hush payments and favors, an obvious abuse of power. The year's worst offender might just be Nevada Republican Senator John Ensign. Ensign admitted in June to an extramarital affair with the wife of one of his staff members, who then allegedly obtained special favors from the Nevada Republican in exchange for his silence. According to The New York Times: "The Justice Department and the Senate Ethics Committee are expected to conduct preliminary inquiries into whether Senator John Ensign violated federal law or ethics rules as part of an effort to conceal an affair with the wi fe of an aide…" The former staffer, Douglas Hampton, began to lobby Mr. Ensign's office immediately upon leaving his congressional job, despite the fact that he was subject to a one-year lobbying ban. Ensign seems to have ignored the law and allowed Hampton lobbying access to his office as a payment for his silence about the affair. (These are potentially criminal offenses.) It looks as if Ensign misused his public office (and taxpayer resources) to cover up his sexual shenanigans.

3. Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA): Judicial Watch is investigating a $12 million TARP cash injection provided to the Boston-based OneUnited Bank at the urging of Massachusetts Rep. Barney Frank. As reported in the January 22, 2009, edition of the Wall Street Journal, the Treasury Department indicated it would only provide funds to healthy banks to jump-start lending. Not only was OneUnited Bank in massive financial turmoil, but it was also "under attack from its regulators for allegations of poor lending practices and executive-pay abuses, including owning a Porsche for its executives' use." Rep. Frank admitted he spoke to a "federal regulator," and Treasury granted the funds. (The bank continues to flounder despite Frank's intervention for federal dollars.) Moreover, Judicial Watch uncovered documents in 2009 that showed that members of Congress for years were aware that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were playing fast and loose with accounting issues, risk assessment issues and executive compensation issues, even as liberals led by Rep. Frank continued to block attempts to rein in the two Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs). For example, during a hearing on September 10, 2003 , before the House Committee on Financial Services considering a Bush administration proposal to further regulate Fannie and Freddie, Rep. Frank stated: "I want to begin by saying that I am glad to consider the legislation, but I do not think we are facing any kind of a crisis. That is, in my view, the two Government Sponsored Enterprises we are talking about here, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are not in a crisis. We have recently had an accounting problem with Freddie Mac that has led to people being dismissed, as appears to be appropriate. I do not think at this point there is a problem with a threat to the Treasury." Frank received $42,350 in campaign contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac between 1989 and 2008. Frank also engaged in a relationship with a Fannie Mae Executive while servi ng on the House Banking Committee, which has jurisdiction over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
4. Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner: In 2009, Obama Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner admitted that he failed to pay $34,000 in Social Security and Medicare taxes from 2001-2004 on his lucrative salary at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), an organization with 185 member countries that oversees the global financial system. (Did we mention Geithner now runs the IRS?) It wasn't until President Obama tapped Geithner to head the Treasury Department that he paid back most of the money, although the IRS kindly waived the hefty penalties. In March 2009, Geithner also came under fire for his handling of the AIG bonus scandal, where the company used $165 million of its bailout funds to pay out executive bonuses, resulting in a massive public backlash. Of course as h ead of the New York Federal Reserve, Geithner helped craft the AIG deal in September 2008. However, when the AIG scandal broke, Geithner claimed he knew nothing of the bonuses until March 10, 2009. The timing is important. According to CNN: "Although Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told congressional leaders on Tuesday that he learned of AIG's impending $160 million bonus payments to members of its troubled financial-products unit on March 10, sources tell TIME that the New York Federal Reserve informed Treasury staff that the payments were imminent on Feb. 28. That is ten days before Treasury staffers say they first learned 'full details' of the bonus plan, and three days before the [Obama] Administration launched a new $30 billion infusion of cash for AIG." Thro w in another embarrassing disclosure in 2009 that Geithner employed "household help" ineligible to work in the United States, and it becomes clear why the Treasury Secretary has earned a spot on the "Ten Most Corrupt Politicians in Washington" list.
5. Attorney General Eric Holder: Tim Geithner can be sure he won't be hounded about his tax-dodging by his colleague Eric Holder, US Attorney General. Judicial Watch strongly opposed Holder because of his terrible ethics record, which includes: obstructing an FBI investigation into the theft of nuclear secrets from Los Alamos Nuclear Laboratory; rejecting multiple requests for an independent counsel to investigate alleged fundraising abuses by then-Vice President Al Gore in the Clinton White House; undermining the criminal investigation of President Clinton by Kenneth Starr in the midst of the Lewinsky investigation; and planning the violent raid to seize then-six-year- old Elian Gonzalez at gunpoint in order to return him t o Castro's Cuba. Moreover, there is his soft record on terrorism. Holder bypassed Justice Department procedures to push through Bill Clinton's scandalous presidential pardons and commutations, including those for 16 members of FALN, a violent Puerto Rican terrorist group that orchestrated approximately 120 bombings in the United States, killing at least six people and permanently maiming dozens of others, including law enforcement officers. His record in the current administration is no better. As he did during the Clinton administration, Holder continues to ignore serious incidents of corruption that could impact his political bosses at the White House. For example, Holder has refused to investigate charges that the Obama political machine traded VIP access to the White House in exchange for campaign contributions— a scheme eerily similar to one hatched by Holder's former boss, Bill Clinton in the 1990s. The Holder Justice Department also came under fire for dropping a voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party. On Election Day 2008, Black Panthers dressed in paramilitary garb threatened voters as they approached polling stations. Holder has also failed to initiate a comprehensive Justice investigation of the notorious organization the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), which is closely tied to President Obama. There were allegedly more than 400,000 fraudulent ACORN voter registrations in the 2008 campaign. And then there were the journalist videos catching ACORN Housing workers advising undercover reporters on how to evade tax, immigration, and child prostitution laws. Holder's controversial decisions on new rights for terrorists and his attacks on previous efforts to combat terrorism remind many of the fact that his former law firm has provided and continues to provide pro bono representation to terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. Holder's politicization of the Justice Department makes one long for the days of Alberto Gonzales.
6. Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL)/ Senator Roland Burris (D-IL): One of the most serious scandals of 2009 involved a scheme by former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich to sell President Obama's then-vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder. Two men caught smack dab in the middle of the scandal: Senator Roland Burris, who ultimately got the job, and Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, emissaries for Jesse Jackson Jr., named "Senate Candidate A" in the Blagojevich indictment, reportedly offered $1.5 million to Blagojevich during a fundraiser if he named Jackson Jr. to Obama's seat. Three days later federal authorities arrested Blagojevich. Burris, for his part, apparently lied ab out his contacts with Blagojevich, who was arrested in December 2008 for trying to sell Obama's Senate seat. According to Reuters: "Roland Burris came under fresh scrutiny…after disclosing he tried to raise money for the disgraced former Illinois governor who named him to the U.S. Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama...In the latest of those admissions, Burris said he looked into mounting a fundraiser for Rod Blagojevich—later charged with trying to sell Obama's Senate seat—at the same time he was expressing interest to the then-governor' s aides about his desire to be appointed." Burris changed his story five times regarding his contacts with Blagojevich prior to the Illinois governor appointing him to the U.S. Senate. Three of those changing explana tions came under oath.
7. President Barack Obama: During his presidential campaign, President Obama promised to run an ethical and transparent administration. However, in his first year in office, the President has delivered corruption and secrecy, bringing Chicago-style political corruption to the White House. Consider just a few Obama administration "lowlights" from year one: Even before President Obama was sworn into office, he was interviewed by the FBI for a criminal investigation of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich' s scheme to sell the President's former Senate seat to the highest bidder. (Obama's Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and slumlord Valerie Jarrett, both from Chicago, are also tangled up in the Blagojevich scandal.) Moreover, the Obama administration made the startling claim that the Privacy Act does not apply to the White House. The Obama White House believes it can violate the privacy rights of American citizens without any legal consequences or accountability. President Obama boldly proclaimed that "transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency," but his administration is addicted to secrecy, stonewalling far too many of Judicial Watch's Freedom of Information Act requests and is refusing to make public White House visitor logs as federal law requires. The Obama administration turned the National E ndowment of the Arts (as well as the agency that runs the AmeriCorps program) into propaganda machines, using tax dollars to persuade "artists" to promote the Obama agenda. According to documents uncovered by Judicial Watch, the idea emerged as a direct result of the Obama campaign and enjoyed White House approval and participation. President Obama has installed a record number of "czars" in positions of power. Too many of these individuals are leftist radicals who answer to no one but the president. And too many of the czars are not subject to Senate confirmation (which raises serious constitutional questions). Under the President's bailout schemes, the federal government continues to appropriate or control—through fiat and threats—large sectors of the private economy, prompting conservative columnist George Will to write: "The administration' s central activity—the political allocation of wealth and opportunity—is not merely susceptible to corruption, it is corruption." Government-run healthcare and car companies, White House coercion, uninvestigated ACORN corruption, debasing his office to help Chicago cronies, attacks on conservative media and the private sector, unprecedented and dangerous new rights for terrorists, perks for campaign donors—this is Obama's "ethics" record—and we haven't even gotten through the first year of his presidency.
8. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA): At the heart of the corruption problem in Washington is a sense of entitlement. Politicians believe laws and rules (even the U.S. Constitution) apply to the rest of us but not to them. Case in point: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her excessive and boorish demands for military travel. Judicial Watch obtained documents from the Pentagon in 2008 that suggest Pelosi has been treating the Air Force like her own personal airline. These documents, obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, include internal Pentagon email correspondence detailing attempts by Pentagon staff to accommodate Pelosi's numerous requests for military escorts and military aircraft, as well as the speak er's 11th hour cancellations and changes. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also came under fire in April 2009, when she claimed she was never briefed about the CIA's use of the waterboarding technique during terrorism investigations. The CIA produced a report documenting a briefing with Pelosi on September 4, 2002, that suggests otherwise. Judicial Watch also obtained documents, including a CIA Inspector General report, which further confirmed that Congress was fully briefed on the enhanced interrogation techniques. Aside from her own personal transgressions, Nancy Pelosi has ignored serious incidents of corruption within her own party, including many of the individuals on this list. (See Rangel, Murtha, Jesse Jackson, Jr., etc.)
9. Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) and the rest of the PMA Seven: Rep. John Murtha made headlines in 2009 for all the wrong reasons. The Pennsylvania congressman is under federal investigation for his corrupt relationship with the now-defunct defense lobbyist PMA Group. PMA, founded by a former Murtha associate, has been the congressman' s largest campaign contributor. Since 2002, Murtha has raised $1.7 million from PMA and its clients. And what did PMA and its clients receive from Murtha in return for their generosity? Earmarks—over ten million dollars in earmarks. In fact, even with all of the attention surrounding his alleged influence peddling, Murtha kept at it. Following an FBI raid of PMA's offices earlier in 2009, Murtha continued to seek congressional earmarks for PMA clients, while also hitting them up for campaign contributions. According to The Hill, in April, "Murtha reported receiving contributions from three former PMA clients for whom he requested earmarks in the pending appropriations bills." When it comes to the PMA scandal, Murtha is not alone. As many as six other Members of Congress are currently under scrutiny according to The Washington Post. They include: Peter J. Visclosky (D-IN.), James P. Moran Jr. (D-VA), Norm Dicks (D-WA.), Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), C.W. Bill Young (R-FL.) and Todd Tiahrt (R-KS.). Of course rather than investiga te this serious scandal, according to Roll Call, House Democrats circled the wagons, "cobbling together a defense to offer political cover to their rank and file." The Washington Post also reported in 2009 that Murtha's nephew received $4 million in Defense Department no-bid contracts: "Newly obtained documents... show Robert Murtha mentioning his influential family connection as leverage in his business dealings and holding unusual power with the military."
10. Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY): Rangel, the man in charge of writing tax policy for the entire country, has yet to adequately explain how he could possibly "forget" to pay taxes on $75,000 in rental income he earned from his off-shore rental property. He also faces allegations that he improperly used his influence to maintain ownership of highly coveted rent-controlled apartments in Harlem, and misused his congressional office to fundraise for his private Rangel Center by preserving a tax loophole for an oil drilling company in exchange for funding. On top of all that, Rangel recently amended his financial disclosure reports, which doubled his reported wealth. (He somehow "forgot" about $1 million in assets.) And what did h e do when the House Ethics Committee started looking into all of this? He apparently resorted to making "campaign contributions" to dig his way out of trouble. According to WCBS TV, a New York CBS affiliate: "The reigning member of Congress' top tax committee is apparently 'wrangling' other politicos to get him out of his own financial and tax troubles...Since ethics probes began last year the 79-year-old congressman has given campaign donations to 119 members of Congress, including three of the five Democrats on the House Ethics Committee who are charged with investigating him." Charlie Rangel should not be allowed to remain in Congress, let alone serve as Chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, and he knows it. That's why he felt the need to disburse campaign contributions to Ethics Committee members and other congressional colleagues.

In March 2009, Geithner also came under fire for his handling of the AIG bonus scandal, where the company used $165 million of its bailout funds to pay out executive bonuses, resulting in a massive public backlash. Of course as h ead of the New York Federal Reserve, Geithner helped craft the AIG deal in September 2008. However, when the AIG scandal broke, Geithner claimed he knew nothing of the bonuses until March 10, 2009. The timing is important. According to CNN: "Although Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner told congressional leaders on Tuesday that he learned of AIG's impending $160 million bonus payments to members of its troubled financial-products unit on March 10, sources tell TIME that the New York Federal Reserve informed Treasury staff that the payments were imminent on Feb. 28. That is ten days before Treasury staffers say they first learned 'full details' of the bonus plan, and three days before the [Obama] Administration launched a new $30 billion infusion of cash for AIG." Thro w in another embarrassing disclosure in 2009 that Geithner employed "household help" ineligible to work in the United States, and it becomes clear why the Treasury Secretary has earned a spot on the "Ten Most Corrupt Politicians in Washington" list.
5. Attorney General Eric Holder: Tim Geithner can be sure he won't be hounded about his tax-dodging by his colleague Eric Holder, US Attorney General. Judicial Watch strongly opposed Holder because of his terrible ethics record, which includes: obstructing an FBI investigation into the theft of nuclear secrets from Los Alamos Nuclear Laboratory; rejecting multiple requests for an independent counsel to investigate alleged fundraising abuses by then-Vice President Al Gore in the Clinton White House; undermining the criminal investigation of President Clinton by Kenneth Starr in the midst of the Lewinsky investigation; and planning the violent raid to seize then-six-year- old Elian Gonzalez at gunpoint in order to return him t o Castro's Cuba. Moreover, there is his soft record on terrorism. Holder bypassed Justice Department procedures to push through Bill Clinton's scandalous presidential pardons and commutations, including those for 16 members of FALN, a violent Puerto Rican terrorist group that orchestrated approximately 120 bombings in the United States, killing at least six people and permanently maiming dozens of others, including law enforcement officers. His record in the current administration is no better. As he did during the Clinton administration, Holder continues to ignore serious incidents of corruption that could impact his political bosses at the White House. For example, Holder has refused to investigate charges that the Obama political machine traded VIP access to the White House in exchange for campaign contributions— a scheme eerily similar to one hatched by Holder's former boss, Bill Clinton in the 1990s. The Holder Justice Department also came under fire for dropping a voter intimidation case against the New Black Panther Party. On Election Day 2008, Black Panthers dressed in paramilitary garb threatened voters as they approached polling stations. Holder has also failed to initiate a comprehensive Justice investigation of the notorious organization the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), which is closely tied to President Obama. There were allegedly more than 400,000 fraudulent ACORN voter registrations in the 2008 campaign. And then there were the journalist videos catching ACORN Housing workers advising undercover reporters on how to evade tax, immigration, and child prostitution laws. Holder's controversial decisions on new rights for terrorists and his attacks on previous efforts to combat terrorism remind many of the fact that his former law firm has provided and continues to provide pro bono representation to terrorists at Guantanamo Bay. Holder's politicization of the Justice Department makes one long for the days of Alberto Gonzales.

Jesse Jackson, Jr. (D-IL)/ Senator Roland Burris (D-IL): One of the most serious scandals of 2009 involved a scheme by former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich to sell President Obama's then-vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder. Two men caught smack dab in the middle of the scandal: Senator Roland Burris, who ultimately got the job, and Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr. According to the Chicago Sun-Times, emissaries for Jesse Jackson Jr., named "Senate Candidate A" in the Blagojevich indictment, reportedly offered $1.5 million to Blagojevich during a fundraiser if he named Jackson Jr. to Obama's seat. Three days later federal authorities arrested Blagojevich. Burris, for his part, apparently lied ab out his contacts with Blagojevich, who was arrested in December 2008 for trying to sell Obama's Senate seat. According to Reuters: "Roland Burris came under fresh scrutiny…after disclosing he tried to raise money for the disgraced former Illinois governor who named him to the U.S. Senate seat once held by President Barack Obama...In the latest of those admissions, Burris said he looked into mounting a fundraiser for Rod Blagojevich—later charged with trying to sell Obama's Senate seat—at the same time he was expressing interest to the then-governor' s aides about his desire to be appointed." Burris changed his story five times regarding his contacts with Blagojevich prior to the Illinois governor appointing him to the U.S. Senate. Three of those changing explana tions came under oath.

However, in his first year in office, the President has delivered corruption and secrecy, bringing Chicago-style political corruption to the White House. Consider just a few Obama administration "lowlights" from year one: Even before President Obama was sworn into office, he was interviewed by the FBI for a criminal investigation of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich' s scheme to sell the President's former Senate seat to the highest bidder. (Obama's Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and slumlord Valerie Jarrett, both from Chicago, are also tangled up in the Blagojevich scandal.) President Obama boldly proclaimed that "transparency and the rule of law will be the touchstones of this presidency," but his administration is addicted to secrecy, stonewalling far too many of Judicial Watch's Freedom of Information Act requests and is refusing to make public White House visitor logs as federal law requires. The Obama administration turned the National E ndowment of the Arts (as well as the agency that runs the AmeriCorps program) into propaganda machines, using tax dollars to persuade "artists" to promote the Obama agenda. According to documents uncovered by Judicial Watch, the idea emerged as a direct result of the Obama campaign and enjoyed White House approval and participation. President Obama has installed a record number of "czars" in positions of power. Too many of these individuals are leftist radicals who answer to no one but the president. And too many of the czars are not subject to Senate confirmation (which raises serious constitutional questions). Under the President's bailout schemes, the federal government continues to appropriate or control—through fiat and threats—large sectors of the private economy, prompting conservative columnist George Will to write: "The administration' s central activity—the political allocation of wealth and opportunity—is not merely susceptible to corruption, it is corruption." Government-run healthcare and car companies, White House coercion, uninvestigated ACORN corruption, debasing his office to help Chicago cronies, attacks on conservative media and the private sector, unprecedented and dangerous new rights for terrorists, perks for campaign donors—this is Obama's "ethics" record—and we haven't even gotten through the first year of his presidency.
8. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA): At the heart of the corruption problem in Washington is a sense of entitlement. Politicians believe laws and rules (even the U.S. Constitution) apply to the rest of us but not to them. Case in point: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her excessive and boorish demands for military travel. Judicial Watch obtained documents from the Pentagon in 2008 that suggest Pelosi has been treating the Air Force like her own personal airline. These documents, obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, include internal Pentagon email correspondence detailing attempts by Pentagon staff to accommodate Pelosi's numerous requests for military escorts and military aircraft, as well as the speak er's 11th hour cancellations and changes. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi also came under fire in April 2009, when she claimed she was never briefed about the CIA's use of the waterboarding technique during terrorism investigations. The CIA produced a report documenting a briefing with Pelosi on September 4, 2002, that suggests otherwise. Judicial Watch also obtained documents, including a CIA Inspector General report, which further confirmed that Congress was fully briefed on the enhanced interrogation techniques. Aside from her own personal transgressions, Nancy Pelosi has ignored serious incidents of corruption within her own party, including many of the individuals on this list. 9. Rep. John Murtha (D-PA) and the rest of the PMA Seven: Rep. John Murtha made headlines in 2009 for all the wrong reasons. The Pennsylvania congressman is under federal investigation for his corrupt relationship with the now-defunct defense lobbyist PMA Group. PMA, founded by a former Murtha associate, has been the congressman' s largest campaign contributor. Since 2002, Murtha has raised $1.7 million from PMA and its clients. And what did PMA and its clients receive from Murtha in return for their generosity? Earmarks—over ten million dollars in earmarks. In fact, even with all of the attention surrounding his alleged influence peddling, Murtha kept at it. Following an FBI raid of PMA's offices earlier in 2009, Murtha continued to seek congressional earmarks for PMA clients, while also hitting them up for campaign contributions. According to The Hill, in April, "Murtha reported receiving contributions from three former PMA clients for whom he requested earmarks in the pending appropriations bills." When it comes to the PMA scandal, Murtha is not alone. As many as six other Members of Congress are currently under scrutiny according to The Washington Post. They include: Peter J. Visclosky (D-IN.), James P. Moran Jr. (D-VA), Norm Dicks (D-WA.), Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), C.W. Bill Young (R-FL.) and Todd Tiahrt (R-KS.). Of course rather than investiga te this serious scandal, according to Roll Call, House Democrats circled the wagons, "cobbling together a defense to offer political cover to their rank and file." The Washington Post also reported in 2009 that Murtha's nephew received $4 million in Defense Department no-bid contracts: "Newly obtained documents... show Robert Murtha mentioning his influential family connection as leverage in his business dealings and holding unusual power with the military."
10. Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY): Rangel, the man in charge of writing tax policy for the entire country, has yet to adequately explain how he could possibly "forget" to pay taxes on $75,000 in rental income he earned from his off-shore rental property. He also faces allegations that he improperly used his influence to maintain ownership of highly coveted rent-controlled apartments in Harlem, and misused his congressional office to fundraise for his private Rangel Center by preserving a tax loophole for an oil drilling company in exchange for funding. On top of all that, Rangel recently amended his financial disclosure reports, which doubled his reported wealth. (He somehow "forgot" about $1 million in assets.) And what did h e do when the House Ethics Committee started looking into all of this? He apparently resorted to making "campaign contributions" to dig his way out of trouble. According to WCBS TV, a New York CBS affiliate: "The reigning member of Congress' top tax committee is apparently 'wrangling' other politicos to get him out of his own financial and tax troubles...Since ethics probes began last year the 79-year-old congressman has given campaign donations to 119 members of Congress, including three of the five Democrats on the House Ethics Committee who are charged with investigating him." Charlie Rangel should not be allowed to remain in Congress, let alone serve as Chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, and he knows it. That's why he felt the need to disburse campaign contributions to Ethics Committee members and other congressional colleagues.

Ten Events That Defined 2009
1). The failure to properly vet Barack Obama as a Presidential candidate resulted in the biggest fraud in history being perpetrated against the American people. The people voted against George Bush. They did not vote for Karl Marx. His actions on both the domestic and foreign relation fronts show he has malice towards the United States. He does not show the leadership consistent with a leader of the Free World. This administration’s political correctness poses a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States. The sheeple of the United States of America were hoodwinked into believing the mantra of “Hope and Change.” What they got was “No hope and all their Change taxed.” Oops!
2). Against the overwhelming majority of the will of the American people, Congress rams Obamacare down the throats of the citizens. In a completely partisan vote in the Senate and with only one Republican voting ”Yes” in the House of Representatives, these two bills mark America’s next step towards European Socialism. These bills symbolize a total breakdown in our representative democracy. All Obamacare will do is add more government bureaucracy and allow the government to control another one-sixth of the economy of the United States. How far must the country fall before good people decide to draw a line in the sand, and say it stops right here, right now.
3). The head of the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, tells local law enforcement that returning veterans, pro-life people, Ron Paul supporters, tea party attendees, and people who support the Second Amendment are potential domestic terrorists, like Timothy McVeigh. It is my opinion that Barack Obama has done more to destroy this country his first year in office than all of the terrorists combined.
4). The exposure of Al Gore and climate change is revealed as voodoo science. It is junk science. Follow the money, People! Isn’t it convenient that the people who stand to profit the most from Cap and Trade legislation and global warming paranoia are the people who have invested heavily green energy? The hacked emails from East Anglia at the very least should bring a full-scale investigation into this bogus science. The people of this country are done being manipulated. “The Inconvenient Truth” has turned out to be a very “Convenient Lie.” These political hacks turned “expert climatologists” are trying to get rich off the American tax dollar. The Climate Change Summit heralded an attempt at the biggest redistribution of wealth in the history of the world. One would think the CRU would have used better passwords on their computers.

Obama promised that if the bill passed unemployment would not go above 8%. $787 billion dollars later unemployment stands at 10.3% and is still rising. Rather than admit incompetence, the Administration finger points and whines. When all else fails, they blame George Bush. The worst part of the stimulus bill was that in their haste to “Save America”, Congress did not read or write the bill that they passed into law. Did you think the American people wouldn’t notice? We noticed.
6). The birth of a grassroots Conservative movement gained momentum. The tea parties were common people getting together and saying “Enough was Enough”. September 12, 2009 was the culmination of these individual movements. Over two million people marched on Washington DC. The current administration brushed them off as not being a representative sampling of America. YOU WERE WRONG. Harry Reid was quoted as saying, “You can actually smell the tourists out there.” The main stream media forgot to show up and severely under-reported the numbers in attendance, once again proving the theory that unbiased journalism died in 2009. The liberal media has shown over and over that they are no longer the political watch-dogs. They are now the current administration’s propaganda ministry. It is unprofessional and unbecoming of journalists.
7). Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan opens fire at Fort Hood killing 12 and wounding 31 people. Maj. Hasan was open about his radical beliefs. He said he was a Muslim first and a soldier second. The infection that is political correctness rewarded his radical beliefs. Intelligence did nothing with information that he was trying to contact Al-Qaeda for the purpose of joining the Jihad. He was an outspoken critic of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The military promoted this insolent behavior. The blood of all the innocent people who died on November 5, 2009, is on the hands of the bureaucrats in the Pentagon. Political Correctness (PC) will not allow the media or the President to call Hasan what he is, a terrorist. This terrorist deserves to be shipped down to Gitmo and interrogated with extreme prejudice. PC is killing this country. Thank you, former President Bush and Laura Bush, for praying with the families at Ft. Hood. The concern you showed will stay with the victims and their families longer than you will ever know.

I can only assume that this was done as a personal favor to Malik Shabbaz, who reportedly visited the White House sometime in 2009.
Second, he chose to investigate and prosecute the “enhanced interrogation” techniques used by the CIA to obtain intelligence that saved American lives. If our intelligence operatives on the ground think they will be prosecuted for doing their job, which is keeping America safe, they will hesitate. The safety of American citizens must come first before the supposed rights of terrorists. Remember in the field what quarter do they show our prisoners? None. They torture and mutilate our soldiers.
Lastly, Holder’s decision to bring the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the 9-11 attacks, to New York City has again compromised the security of the United States. Mohammed is being tried in a civilian court, giving him the platform he wants to justify his actions and spew his hate at the American people. He should have been brought before a Military Tribunal, found guilty, and then hung. Any future attacks on the American people will have severe political implications for the Obama administration. If our government will not admit we are at war or why we are fighting, how can we expect to prevail over an enemy that is willing to sacrifice their lives for their cause? Radical Islamic Fundamentalism threatens the peace, prosperity, and future security of the United States of America.

The people of Iran finally stepped up to the Supreme Leader and the Revolutionary Guard. They were pleading in the streets for America’s help. The leader of the Free World had a responsibility to help the people of Iran. Obama did nothing but talk. Our coward-in-chief had an opportunity to stand for freedom and liberty and he chose to stand with “Little Hitler.” One must ask himself/herself what would Ronald Reagan done? Instead of showing strength, Obama acted more like Jimmy Carter, or even worse Neville Chamberlain. He tries to appease the enemies of freedom around the world. The only thing that he has gotten in return is laughed at. Russian leaders would not even show him the respect of a handshake. The world sees Obama as unsure, vulnerable, and most dangerous of all, weak. You keep peace by showing force with the hope you never have to use it. This clown learned nothing from the Cold War. Reagan tore down the iron curtain with his words. Obama is not in the same class as Ronald Reagan. He is more like Nancy.

Their reasoning was that his speech was filled with hate and incited violence. Since when has “Borders, Language, and Culture” define hate speech? The British government has defamed Dr. Savage. The infringement of his Freedom of Speech has been met with the usual silence by our government. Dr. Savage is currently in a lawsuit with the Home Secretary of England to have his name taken off the list. He was only put on the list to appease the increasingly violent and vocal Muslim population in England.

Americans must take more than a passing interest in the future of your children and grandchildren. This is the greatest country in the world. The United States is the last, best hope for man on Earth. Isn’t it worth fighting for?

The Hubris of Incompetence
Today the President of the United States of America armed with his teleprompter spoke out this morning about Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the “panty bomber.” This was the terrorist who tried to detonate 80 grams of PETR. PETR is an extremely volatile explosive. It was cleverly sewn into this parasite’s underwear. Northwest flight 253 was en-route from Amsterdam to Detroit on Christmas Day. Ten minutes before landing Abdulmutallab tried to ignite the explosive, but before he could send himself to hell he was subdued by his fellow passengers.
What concerns me is why it took three days for TOTUS (Teleprompter of the United States) to say something about the attempted terrorist attack. Three Days? I think it is fair to say that the president didn’t want to be interrupted during his vacation. There are other questions that the American people need to have answered. Where was the Department of Homeland Security? Did this man even have a passport? There are claims by a Kurt Haskell, a Michigan man who was onboard Northwest 253 at the time of the attack says he overheard the airline agent speaking with Abdulmutallab and another man who said he was from Sudan and did not have a passport. Why doesn’t the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) start to profile people? Why was there another breakdown in communication between various government agencies? Abdulmutallab was on one of the terrorist watch lists but was still granted access to the plane. These are the questions the public should be asking.
“Big Sis,” Janet Napolitano came out at first and said that the system in place worked perfectly. Excuse me! If the security in place had done its job, this clown would have never been able to board that plane. Only due to the actions of some of the passengers aboard the flight was this tragedy prevented. The TSA did nothing to keep those passengers safe.
This man, Abdulmutallab, was on the terrorist watch list. His own father contacted United States authorities twice warning them that his son was a threat to the United States. The official DHS explanation for why this man was allowed to board was that there are over 500,000 people on that particular watch list. Cry me a river. Stop making excuses you incompetent buffoons. The people of this country deserve better than some left-wing political hack to keep us safe on the home-front. This is a woman who doesn’t believe in terrorism, they are “man-caused disasters.” She thinks if we kneel and cower before Radical Islam that we will be safe. I am sorry Americans kneel to no one. We will never submit to the clerics who pervert the minds of young people, and who condone senseless violence in the name of Allah.
Political correctness is killing this country. Those in power are so worried about offending Muslims that they will not do their job and profile and screen at airports. Why, because CAIR (Council on American and Islamic Relations), and other Political Action Committees have castrated our government through corruption, and fear. Israel has not had a bombing or hijacking aboard one of their airlines in over forty years. Why, because their government officials do their job and profile. If someone has no luggage, pays for a one-way plane ticket in cash, has, no passport, and is on a terrorist watch list, guess what, he doesn’t get on their plane. It’s common sense people. We need to get a hold of our Congressmen and women, email them, visit their offices, do whatever it takes to see that an investigation into the DHS’s incompetence, and in particular, Janet Napolitano. This woman was a disgrace to Arizona as their Governor, and her unwillingness to confront the very real threat of Muslim extremism makes her a clear and present danger to the people of the United States of America.

Judge Me by Whom I Associate With
During the 2008 election campaign then Senator Barack Obama told people to judge him by who he surrounds himself with. Judging by his past associations, and current administration czars and various appointments, I am afraid “We the People” have elected a Marxist to the highest office of the land.
I will start my defense of this theory with his earliest associations. Both his mother, Ann Dunham, and his father Barack Obama, Sr. were both avowed communists. Ann Dunham was not being rebellious she was raised by communists. Both her parents had communist views and affiliations.
When Barack Obama went to live with his maternal grandmother, he was introduced to Frank Marshall Davis. This man proved to be a childhood mentor to the young Barack Obama, Jr. The F.B.I. had a six hundred page dossier on Frank Marshall Davis. Mr. Davis was an active member of the Communist Party USA. The Communist Party was a political party that looked to the Soviet Union for guidance and leadership. Mr. Davis was also involved in several communist-front organizations. In President Obama’s book, Dreams From My Father, Frank Marshall Davis is referred to simply as “Frank.”
When Barack Obama attended college he sought out Marxist professors and other students that were sympathetic to his political leanings. He admits attending Marxist and Communist meetings and lectures while at Harvard and Columbia.
Barack Obama went to work for “ACORN” a left-leaning, community organizing group in Chicago. Speaking of his time training under a Saul Alinski protégé, Barack Obama said it was the best education he ever achieved.
In 1996, when Barack Obama ran for the Illinois State Senate, he ran as a member of the New Party, which was a Marxist third party. The New Party has since been disbanded. In 2004, Barack Obama ran for the US Senate. Not only did he get the nomination of the Democratic Party, but he was endorsed by the Democratic Socialists of America, and the Communist Party USA endorsed him. This in and of itself should have discouraged voters.
For twenty years Barack Obama sat in the pews of Trinity United Church of Christ. The pastor of Trinity United is Jeremiah Wright. The racist, America hating, pastor spewed hate from the pulpit for twenty years and Barack Obama claimed he never heard any of these homilies.
When Barack Obama was elected President his first nominees for administration positions were people like Timothy Geithner. Mr. Geithner “forgot” to pay thousands of dollars to the IRS in back taxes. Tom Daschle took himself out of consideration for a cabinet position when allegations of unpaid taxes surfaced. Eric Holder, the head of the Justice Department, made headlines when he claimed that America was a nation of cowards. Just a few weeks ago Mr. Holder made the news again when he decided to hold the trials of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, and four other 9-11 conspirators in New York City. These trials were supposed to be held in military court. He also decided to investigate the CIA interrogators responsible for the “enhanced interrogation” of Mr. Mohammed and others being held in Guatanamo Bay, Cuba.
White House Communications Director Anita Dunn made headlines when a video surfaced of her speaking in front of high school students, where she said her two favorite philosophers were Mao Tse Tung, and Mother Theresa. She said speaking of Mao that he is who she looks to most for advice and direction. I do not think anyone should admire a man who murdered 50-100 million of his own citizens during peacetime. But that’s just me.
The number of Czars, or special advisors, involved with Mr. Obama’s administration is another area of worry to many Americans. Czars answer only to Barack Obama and are not subject to Congressional oversight, or confirmation.
Science Czar, John Holdren, openly advocates mass sterilizations, and forced abortions. Regulatory Czar, Cass Sunstein, believes members of the media should be “gagged.” He also believes that laboratory animals have the right to sue scientists for endangering their species. Mr. Sunstein also believes that Obama should be able to make law instead of the Supreme Court, or Congress.
If any of these associations had been exposed by the main stream media during the election, Barack Obama would have never been elected President. But regardless, the average American is now aware of these associations, and will not be fooled in 2012. Mr. Obama, I have taken note of those whom you have continued to surround yourself with. The only conclusion I can come up with, is that you are an America hating, Marxist who wishes to fundamentally remake America into a modern-day Socialist Worker’s Union Paradise.
